Experiments have confirmed that children can be trained in swimming at their early age. In los Angelos, there is a special swimming which children develop into holding their hreath under water even before they can walk. The babies is about two months old. They don't emerge to be unwilling to stay in the water. In other words, they like water that is a birth trait. They swim like a fish and are used to swim. They can pich up weights from the floor of the pool when they stay in the pool. A game is welcomed to these young swimmer, which is underwater tricycle race that the tricycles are lined up on the floor of the pool seven feet under water. The children swim to reach the other end of the pool and they compete against each other because this is a kind of match. Some children can cover the whole length of the pool without emerging from the water for breath even once. Maybe, one of them will be a future olympic champions in swimming, only time will tell. Nevertherless, those children who can not swim five yards before they are gasping for air, which  should be encourage from adults.

Today, I read an article about a festival of the dead that is held once a year in Japan. It is said that people make special lartern to help the dead find their way to return home. During the festival, people lay out food for the dead as they think the dead might be hungry after long journey. Besides, people hung the larterns outside each house at night. All night long, people dance and sing together. In the next early morning, the food that had been laid out for the dead is thrown into the river or into the sea since local people consier unlucky for living to eat the food. Because of their town near the sea, they place the larterns into the water when the festival is over. on that day, thousands of larterns slowly drift out to sea bring the dead to return the other world. Watching the larterns drifting away slowly fron the beach, crowds of people stand on the shore to pray for the dead that is a moving spectale.

从这周一开始每天下午都去运动场跑几圈，已经一周了。昨天一口气跑了八圈，今天一口气跑了十圈4000米，都还没什么累的感觉，自己都到很吃惊，从来没想到自己耐力这么好。鼓励自己一下，要坚持哦！

今年是08年的大年初一，在声声炮竹声中迎来了鼠年的新春，看着窗外任时间逝去，礼花阵阵，我却没有任何感觉，既不高兴也感受不到痛苦。正是因此我才知道自己已经学会了坚强，不会再为不必要的人和事去烦恼。

K:Sharrie,what do you say my performance on class today?

S:It's ok!you should be more confident.Don't be so shy! I don't think you are a introvert girl, are you?

K:yeah,I left a impression of bashfulness. As a matter of fact, I am an open-minded and tough girl.

S:Yeah, that's you. But why do you behave like someone else?

K: I'm just very nerous and have no enough confident while I'm on the stage.

S:I see. Just like me. Maybe people think I'm fragile,weak.  Just from my outlook. But in fact, I am perservering and tough girl.

K:yep,It's hard to tell a person's character just from their outlook.so,we should exchange experience, idea and other aspects for better knowing each other. As time goes on, you'll know me little by little.

S:yes,maybe you are right!
